Live Free or Sizzlean. The New Hampshire Film Festival has selected Sizzlean for this year's festival in Portsmouth NH, producer Chris Stinson's home state. Screening times, reviews and more here! Los Angeles Premier at DFFLA! Sizzlean will have its Los Angeles Premier as part of the innaugural Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles. Sizzlean plays at 1:30 in the Laemmle Grande as part of the "Suffer the Children" shorts program.
Sizzlean Strasbourg Selection. Love from France just keeps on coming! Sizzlean has been selected for the Strasbourg International Film Festival. Screening dates and times should be announced shortly. The festival takes place from September 12 to 21 in Strasbourg, France.
Cannes -Cast! Just in time for Cannes, Scott was interviewed for Directors Notes. Directors Notes is a website about independent filmmaking. You can hear the interview here. If you want to ask Scott questions in person, he'll be at the Cannes Short Film Corner from May 20 - 22.
Sizzlean has been selected for the Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner. The Short Film Corner is a section of Cannes aimed at new filmmakers looking to turn their short films into features. Scott will be in Cannes from May 20-22 to support Sizzlean.
Cinequest Screening Times Announced. Sizzlean will be screening in the Cinequest Maverick Short Film Competition in San Jose, CA on Wendesday 3/5/08 at 9PM and Saturday 3/8/08 at 12PM at the Camera 12 Theaters. Writer/Director Scott Keiner will be at both screenings for a Q&A that will follow. Tickets are now available!
Sizzlean has been selected for the Producer's Guild of America Producer's Lab at Sundance. The PGA lab takes place at the Stella Artois house in Park City on Wednesday 1/23/08. The lab is an opportunity for producers, investors and agents to learn more about Sizzlean and become a part of the project. The Sizzlean trailer will also play at the lab. Sizzlean will be screening for FREE in Park City during Sundance as part of the Park City Cinema Slam. Sizzlean screens in a shorts program on TUESDAY, JANUARY 22 at 11AM and THURSDAY, JANUARY 24 at 9AM. Please enjoy all of the films, but if you only have time to see one short, you can see Sizzlean at 11:15AM on Tuesday and 9:30AM on Thursday. All screenings are in the Main Street Mall, 333 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Park City. Follow the signs for the Park City Film Music Festival and/or Park City Cinema Slam. See you there!
Sizzlean is an Official Selection of the Cinequest Film Festival. Sizzlean will compete in the Maverick Short Film Competition. Cinequest is an Academy-qualifying festival and the most important film festival in Northern California. Cinequest takes place between FEBRUARY 27 and MARCH 9 in San Jose, CA.
